Stephanie’s Approach to Counselling

Through a strengths-based lens, Stephanie's authenticity and compassion support flexible, personalized, and evidence-based treatment. She creates a safe and trusting environment and welcomes clients from diverse backgrounds. Stephanie uses an individualized approach to counselling and has a natural ability to listen with empathy and unconditional positive regard.

Stephanie supports clients in navigating a range of presenting challenges, such as PTSD, depression, anxiety, controlling behaviours (including disordered eating), and overall stress. Stephanie is experienced in applying trauma-oriented modalities and collaborates with clients to achieve clarity, confidence, and overall healing.

Stephanie is continuing her professional training in emotion-focused therapies, cognitive processing therapy (CPT), and trauma-oriented and informed modalities.

Stephanie holds professional registration with both the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC) and the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).

Stephanie welcomes clients from diverse backgrounds.
